Proposed new school bus service linking Churchdown and Innsworth with

Denmark Road High School and Sir Thomas Rich’s School from September 2026

 

 

We’re pleased to introduce the proposed timetable for our NEW M10 service, linking Denmark Road High School

and Sir Thomas Rich’s School with Churchdown and Innsworth.

 

We have designed the service to best meet the needs of those who have already expressed an interest in our proposal.

We are open to further ideas, requests for additional bus stops, and would ask for these to be submitted by email to operations@marchants-coaches.com for consideration.

 

Subject to sufficient interest and booking commitments, the NEW M10 service would start from

Thursday 3^rd September 2026, operating on Denmark Road High School and Sir Thomas Rich’s School term dates.

 

Whenever possible we try to accommodate early finishes, also any special timetables would be notified

to parents / carers by email to active registered users.

 

 

The cost for the proposed new M10 service, start from as little as £5.20 per day.

 

Option 1. A £50 non-refundable deposit* at the time of booking, followed by a one-off final payment of £945 payable by 30^th August 2026. Total cost £995

 

Option 2. A £50 non-refundable deposit* at the time of booking, followed by 8 payments of £120 from 1^st September 2026 – 1^st April 2027, then 1 payment of £80 on 1^st May 2027. Total cost £1095

 

*Please note all monies paid will be refunded if Marchants have to cancel the proposal due to insufficient interest.

 

A decision will be made on Monday 22^nd June 2026 on the financial viability of the proposed service, all interested parties will be notified by email of the decision. Refunds if applicable will be made back by the same method of payment within 10 working days, if the proposed service is cancelled by Marchants.

 

Cancellations made by parents / carers will be subject to our normal terms and conditions, which can be found here.

• Timetable effective from Monday 17^th November 2025, until further notice

• Operates on Denmark Road High School and Sir Thomas Rich’s School term days only

• Times shown in bold are known as 'Timing Points' which we use to regulate the service. These are the bus stops drivers will wait at if the bus arrives ahead of time. The times shown in ( ) for all other bus stops are indicative, drivers will not wait if arriving earlier. For this reason, we strongly recommend arriving at your bus stop around 5 minutes ahead of time

• Limited stop service - intermediate bus stops are not served

• Passengers should indicate clearly to the driver of an approaching bus if they wish to board. You must be at a bus stop and give such an indication in sufficient time to enable the driver to stop safely. In all other circumstances we accept no responsibility if the driver does not stop or permit you to travel

• A valid digital bus pass (QR Code) must be scanned on the commencement of each journey

• We do not offer the option of cash fares or single journeys

• The company will notify parents by email of any special timetables to accommodate early finishes

• This is a dedicated school bus service & is not available for members of the general public to use
